I can hardly believe it’s true, but I have managed to get an entire set of essays drafted and out the door for reviews! I actually finished them last night, but I went through them again for another round of my own editing before sending them out.
This is only the start of my aggressive essay writing plan though, and I have no time to rest on my laurels! I am aiming to get the Columbia essays drafted for Thursday and I haven’t started them yet. Yikes! I will need to put in a two essay day to reach that target since I am too tired to write one tonight.
One disadvantage that I have, living in Canada, is that I don’t know too many people that went through the process of American school applications, let alone b-school, so I don’t have reviewers that are really familiar with this process. I’m not letting that worry me though… there is nothing I can do about it, so I’m just using people that know me well.

All the very best Tamasin. Sitting in India i face the same uncertainity too. Though I know of many who went through the process, i do not know them personally to get them review my stuff. In any case, we are the best judges of what we write
From your posts I gather that you would do very well.
BTW, why Ross before Columbia? Isnt Ross’s R1 dead line a month away?

Hi Pavan,
Thanks for your support!
I am applying for regular decision for Columbia, so there are no dates earlier than Ross. In fact, I hope to submit all three of my apps on the same day (Oct 26).
